Clutter-Clearing FAQs

Do I need to de-clutter?

If you can find what you need when you need it; if you feel happy in your space; and if you don’t feel held back in life, then you don’t need to de-clutter. It’s not about any particular way of being or ‘look’. You’ll know if it’s what you need.

Shouldn’t I do it by myself?

There are books and internet sites that can assist you if this is how you’d prefer to do it, but don’t let guilt or other people’s take on things get in the way of what you feel you need in order to move forward.

How long does it take?

Will you make me throw things away?

No! I will reflect back to you what I am picking up about how you feel in relation to a particular object. I may ask questions to help you come to a decision, and help you see your belongings from a fresh viewpoint, but you are always in control.

Should I tidy up first?

No – I take your space exactly as I find it.

Will you remove rubbish and other items from my premises?

Unfortunately I am not equipped to do this, but will be happy to help you sort out the best way to do it.
